Furnace Oil

If you use heating oil to heat your home or business, the supplier's reliability and professionalism will be of primary concern. You will expect a supplier to work with you to avoid run-outs, provide competitive pricing and prevent any spills or delivery errors.

Like most relationships, the key to success is good communication. If you can provide sufficient notice when ordering, the supplier has the best opportunity to plan deliveries efficiently. Suppliers, in turn, should be able to provide you with the delivery history and some accurate projections for when the next delivery might be required (if nothing major has changed).

It is critical that the supplier be notified if there are any significant changes to your furnace or storage system. Insurance companies will tell you of disasters that have occurred when deliveries were made into fill pipes that were no longer connected to the storage tank. Regular inspections by qualified personnel are highly recommended . Contact Us for a referral.

FURNACE OIL PRICING

Currently, Castle Fuels' furnace oil prices are adjusted weekly to reflect changes in the wholesale market pricing. Beginning in the fall of 2005, we plan to offer customers the opportunity to lock-in a fixed price for the full winter season. Contact Us for details.

In British Columbia, both furnace oil and stove oil are exempt from Federal Excise Tax and Provincial Fuel Tax. GST does apply.
